Todd Tuggey founded Sustainable Outdoor Solutions in 2011, harnessing his education and experience with Habersham Gardens, Planters, and Well Done! Water Solutions to provide a full spectrum landscape consulting and implementation services offering.

Todd discovered a passion for enduring landscapes maintaining the Naumkeag Estate, a 20 ^th Century Summer Cottage in Stockbridge, MA, designed by notable landscape architect Fletcher Steele for the Choate family. He pursued degrees in Landscape Construction from Stockbridge School of Agriculture, and a B.S. in Urban Forestry from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a state certified Horticulturist and Arborist, and he has honed his skills in aesthetic design, horticulture, project management and the practical realities of landscape construction in his tenure with leading landscape firms in the northeast and southeast.

Some of his favorite projects have included the period renovation of the Boxwood Garden for The Atlanta History Center, the high end landscape renovation for Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC, and the transformation of PrintPack’s water supply integrating a deep drilled well to reduce their reliance on municipal water at the corporate headquarters in Vinings.

Based on 23 years of applied experience in landscaping, Todd has proven the technical expertise, construction management, and appreciation for client lifestyles and values to bring enduring landscapes to life - seamlessly and responsibly.
